In this post, I’m sharing a list of stocking stuffers for women.
It’s not even November yet, but your wife has started planning for the holidays. She probably has three tabs open on her computer: one with a draft of your Christmas cards, one with a saved cart full of cold-weather clothes for your kids, and one with a weighted vest or cold plunge that she’s thoughtfully considering for your gift. She has a few Christmas cookie ideas in mind and has clocked the holiday craft end cap at Target, making a mental note to grab the small tree painting set the next time she’s there. She is wondering what to get for your child’s teacher.
*And if you have a leave-it-until-December type of wife, she’ll do all of this and more under a time crunch and with a smile on her face.
The point is this: that woman is going to make Christmas magical for your family. It’s what we do, and we are happy to do it.
My unsolicited advice to husbands this year is to start gathering things for your wife’s stocking.
I love the idea of every mom/wife I know waking up to the gorgeous Christmas morning she orchestrated to see not only a juicy gift under the tree but a thoughtfully curated stocking full of little surprises that make her feel seen, cherished, and appreciated.
A good stocking requires thought, care, and a certain level of preparedness. Maybe it sounds silly, but I don’t know a woman alive who wouldn’t appreciate the fact that her husband took the time to gather a few things that would make her smile?
In this post, I’ll share my recommendations for the perfect Christmas stocking. I’ll try to share a range of prices and ideas.
Stay tuned for the rest of my gift guides too. This post is focused on stocking stuffers for women, but I should have my full gift guide for women up later this week. Check out the gift guide for men I posted last week!
Write her a card, thanking her for everything she did to make Christmas magical and telling her how much you love her, etc etc. You cannot skip this step.
Head to Sézane for a real showstopper–their Parisian Gift Shop guide is the stuff my dreams are made of. I love my Alfred card holder SO much (bonus points if you get it monogrammed!). Some other picks: this little notebook, this Mon Amour bowl that is almost always sold out, and this handy little jewelry case. I also love their square scarves.
My favorite splurgey candles are from Hotel Lobby Candle. Choose a city that is special to her (I love New York) OR go with Spa.
Another favorite candle is the Mokara scent from Voluspa. These come in minis which is perfect for stockings! I also really like the Bergamot scent from Magnolia’s Hearth & Hand line at Target.
There is only one acceptable brand of socks for a stocking and that is Barefoot Dreams. Just trust me on this.
I can’t start my day without ice rolling. I do it the *second* I wake up. The Skinny Confidential makes the best ice roller in the game. These are much colder and more substantial than any of the cheaper brands on Amazon (although that is a great place to start for beginners!). And if we have a traveler on our hands, get the Mint Roller which is the same idea but more compact and with a hard lid to protect the roller during travel. The Mint Roller is double sided too which is SO NICE.
SALE ALERT: Both ice rollers are currently 30% off on The Skinny Confidential’s website!!
Machete claw clips are the BEST and such a treat. They are so much stronger than any other brand I’ve tried and don’t give me a headache. I use the Grande size.
Slip’s small hair scrunchies are also a very easy win here. This limited edition pack is so cute.
We can go in a variety of directions, but here are a few ideas: The Comfort Book by Matt Haig is a little collection of cozy poems and essays. As a bonus, it looks cute on a nightstand.
You could get her a travel guide to wherever your next trip is. We love Rick Steves in our house.
Another more bold option is to grab the newest release from her favorite author. You can cross reference with her Goodreads page if she’s on there to make sure she hasn’t read it yet.
Finally, if she’s super bookish and you really want to wow her, place an order with Persephone Books, a small publishing house based in the UK. Persephone uncovers and publishes overlooked books by women authors from the 20th century. So cool right?
If you’re looking to splurge on something really special, Catbird makes the sweetest personalized fine jewelry.
Quince has an amazing line of fine and demi fine jewelry all at great price points.
Here are a few of my favorite fine pieces from Quince: This paperclip chain necklace is a fraction of the cost of Mejuri’s version and looks so beautiful. I love these dainty diamond and 14k gold crossover earrings. These teardrop earrings are half the price of the exact same style from Gorjana. And I love this gold beaded bracelet so much–I wear mine every single day.
For demi fine options, I love these ridge half huggies and the globe huggies. SO CUTE.
I love Anthropologie’s stacking bracelets. These are so fun for adding a little burst of color.
This is the best, most hydrating lip balm. I think Sweet Mint is a safe choice.
These just spark joy. Perfect for the mom running around with little kids this winter. These are great for teacher gifts too!
I generally say to stay away from skincare and makeup because most women like to pick that stuff out for themselves. However, you can’t go wrong with this body oil. It is SO luxurious.
Use my code BFRUTH for a discount at checkout! (This is a new code for the holiday season so please feel free to use it even if you’ve shopped my links in the past!)
This is such a thoughtful gift for the women who still loves snail mail (it’s me). Etsy has so many beautiful options.
This $28 beanie is so cozy and, in my opinion, looks good on everybody. And it comes in so many cute colors.
My two sunglasses recommendations are Raen and Goodr. Raen is a high end, San Diego-based optics brand that makes the BEST quality sunglasses with Carl Zeiss lenses. Tyler and I both love ours. THe Basq and Norie styles are my favorites.
Goodr is what I would recommend for someone who is super into running or outdoor sports. These cost between $25-35 and are what I wear for running. These are super lightweight and don’t slip down my face when I’m sweaty.

It’s a pre-weekend pick me up: just a little note with links to the latest blog posts, what I’m reading lately, and products I’m obsessed with. Think of it as a friend dropping off a surprise latte in the morning--you know?
