Literally dying at the rabid dog sentence and also that sounds awful. Pinning this post! Love it.

  2. Lee says:

    I love Atticus Finch!

  3. ejnets says:

    Ejnets in Lisboa

  4. Orsi says:

I am here in Wonderful Zihuatanejo right now. Still have 3 days left to enjoy. Definitely going to try LOOT tomorrow. And looking up Playa Largs right now. Thanks for the post. O

  5. Lisa says:

My time in Mexico was spent with a terrible upset stomach. It lasted 3 weeks after returning home. Paregoric followed and finally got rid of it. I was told it was something I contracted through the water or fruit from the buffet breakfast. I really would love to go to Zihuatanejo. Should I be concerned about contracting the horrible stomach yuck?
    Your reviews are wonderful.

    • Ruth says:

Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words. That sounds absolutely terrible, and I’m so sorry to hear that you got so sick!! While we didn’t have any problems while we were there, definitely do your research to make sure. We did steer clear of the drinking water–bought bottles everywhere and got a case of water bottles right when we got there to keep at our place. I hope this helps!

  6. Jono says:

On a positive note, your kid is very cute, and regardless how you make it work. Very nice website.

  7. Abby says:

Nice story. I live in Zihua…have so for 35there are better options.
Enjoy.years. Playa La Ropa is my home here. Hotel Viceroy is the most expnsive hotel on our beach.

    • Pauline says:

Good morning. I was doing Alittle research on Zigua which my friend reccomanded to me just this winter while I was in Costa roca. They mentioned they stay in your beautiful little town. I would love to find out Alittle more as my boyfriend and I are thinking about coming for a month next Jan or Feb. can you tell me Alittle about it? Condos? Costing. Good cost? Cost of living? Things to do from your personal opinion. If you have some time to share I would appreciate it. Warm sunshine, Pauline

  8. DM Colburn says:

I never do this! But… I felt compelled to thank you for this helpful and entertaining travelogue. We are headed to Zihua next week (late Nov) hoping weather cooperates. Your post helped us plan our agenda.

  9. Ken says:

Great post! Heading there this April. If you are still monitoring replies, I am wondering who you were going to rent the jet skis from to go to the other beach?
    Thanks so much.

    • Ruth says:

Hey Ken! They have jet ski rentals all along the beach there at Playa La Ropa, so it’s easy to grab one and make the jaunt over!

  10. Rolf says:

    Going there for sure
