Today I’m sharing my daily supplement lineup.
BUT FIRST. I’m not a wellness expert or health practitioner, just a mom of two without the time and tolerance for energy dips or sickness lol. I have to be on my game, all day, every day. So I’ve done a lot of research, and this is just what’s has been working for me lately.
I believe that food is medicine which is why I (mostly) try to eat a clean and nutrient-dense diet, especially when I’m home. I do, however, like to fill in the gaps in my nutrition with the following items.
I don’t believe in magic pills or supplementing your way out of a bad diet (I think that catchphrase is Max Lugavere’s), but I do think adding a few key supplements can be a great way to maximize a healthy lifestyle.
Here are the supplements I take each day:
I switched to Care/of at the beginning of this year mostly out of convenience. I had a laundry list of supplements I was taking, and I’d have to order them at all different times of the month. The song-and-dance was getting old. I also hated the 10 minutes it took me each night to take my vitamins. I’d hover over my dresser just opening, closing, and pill popping for what seemed like forever. There had to be a better way! And don’t even get me started on packing for trips. There isn’t a vitamin container in the world that could hold everything I needed for more than a long weekend away.
Enter Care/of packs: a ONE STOP SHOP. Now, I simply breeze past my dresser, grab a pack on my way into bed, read my cute little quote of the day, swallow a handful of vitamins, and move on with my life.
Care/of curates your personal daily supplement lineup based on a holistic quiz that determines what you need based on your lifestyle, age, health history, and priorities.
I like being in control of my vitamin lineup. With Care/of, I can easily add what’s important to me. I used to take Ritual daily vitamins and noticed the amounts of certain ingredients were a little low. With Care/of, I’m able to see and edit exactly what I’m getting.
I can make adjustments in just a click or two. For example, a few months ago, our pediatrician realized that Emmie’s iron was a little low and recommended I up my own dosage since I’m still breastfeeding her. So I immediately went into my Care/of account and added an iron pill to my pack and never thought about it again. Like I said, CONVENIENT.
In my daily pack, I take a multivitamin, fish oil, iron, magnesium, B12, and D3.
I am so jazzed about this company and feel like everyone should take their health into their own hands and give Care/of a shot.

Probiotics are so, so important for gut health. And gut health affects nearly every aspect of our wellbeing, from longevity to energy to our metabolisms. I recently upgraded to Seed and have been super happy with it. I got mastitis a few months ago and had to get on antibiotics. I wanted to step up my probiotic game and try to counteract the hit to my microbiome. I take two capsules the very second I wake up in the morning.
When I was pregnant with Emmie, my best friend Regan made me order these Sunflower Lechtin capsules from Legendary Milk. Sunflower lecithin is an elmulsifier that reduces fat deposits in breastmilk and therefore helps prevent mastitis. And wouldn’t you know it–the ONE week I ran out of these I got mastitis!! I never miss a day now.
A while back, I learned how important electrolytes are to nursing moms. This is because electrolytes boost hydration in a big way, and hydration (obviously) directly impasts milk supply. I pour a packet of LMNT electrolytes into my afternoon round of water in my Stanley cup almost every day. I like the citrus salt flavor because tastes like a slightly salty lemon-lime Gatorade. These are made without sugar which I deeply appreciate.
I’ve been intermittent fasting for a few years now (except for when I’m pregnant) and like to break my fast with a “Fab Four” smoothie sometime between 10am and noon depending on when I get hungry. You can read more about the recipe and how I prep three weeks’ worth of smoothies at a time here, but I wanted to mention the protein powders I put in it. I use two–one is Be Well By Kelly’s Grass Fed Beef Protein Powder and the other is Vital Proteins Chocolate Collagen Peptides. Both of these are extremely clean, and I have noticed a huge difference since I switched from plant-based protein about a year ago. Also, they taste good–not chalky at all–and do a great job masking the obscene amounts of spinach I put in my smoothies.
It’s a pre-weekend pick me up: just a little note with links to the latest blog posts, what I’m reading lately, and products I’m obsessed with. Think of it as a friend dropping off a surprise latte in the morning--you know?
