In today’s post, I’m sharing my BetterDays Co. Better Hormones review.
I am unbelievably excited about this review because this is a product that has drastically improved one of my life’s biggest pain points: my period.
(If you’re a boy, go away).
I have been antsy to share this product with my readers all year but wanted to make sure I tested it for several months before making any major claims.
In this Better Hormones review, I’ll go over some general info about BetterDays Co. and their BetterHormones product line and share my honest experience after using it consistently this year.
Note: I am not a doctor or a scientist. I can only speak to my own experience. As always, do your own research, talk to your physician, and take everything I say with a grain of (Himalayan) salt.

Ever since I was a teenager, I have had really bad periods. I know there are some girls out there that understand: insane cramps, heavy bleeding, cranky-for-no-reason, you get the idea. All just an enormous nuisance.
Since getting off my IUD last year, those bad periods came back with a vengeance. My sister had heard about BetterHormones from her sister-in-law and suggested I try them out. I was skeptical but desperate enough to give the product a try. And the reviews on the website were quite compelling too.
BetterHormones is an all-natural powder supplement formulated to support and balance hormones.
The product was developed for BetterDays by Dr. Lester Lee, a well-known physician who has worked with Olympic athletes and has been a pioneer in the field of hormone replacement therapy for 30 years.
BetterHormones was formulated to balance hormones, ease PMS and regulate period cycles, calm the nervous system and anxiety, and improve PCOS symptoms.
I read through every single review on the website and saw many people write about the product helping with periods, postpartum, perimenopause, and more. It almost seemed too good to be true.
However, I have been taking BetterHormones every day all year (except for when I was pregnant over the summer) and have noticed a HUGE improvement in my period symptoms.
The biggest change I’ve noticed is that my cramps are now barely noticeable.
I used to have to lay in bed with a heating pad, popping Midol like grapes, for hours at a time. Now, I hardly notice any cramping whatsoever which is SO crazy to me.
My bleeding isn’t necessarily lighter, BUT my periods are much shorter than they have been in the past. I went from 5-7 day periods to consistently only 3 days of bleeding now.
From a strictly mood perspective, I don’t think I should speak to that yet since it’s been a rough year emotionally for me, lol. I will circle back on that in a few months maybe.
BetterHormones is made with chasteberry, calcium pantothenate, milk thistle, high-dose vitamin D, Siberian ginseng, ginger, ashwagandha, inositol, pyridoxine, and kelp extract. I included a brief summary of the benefits of each ingredient, but you can check out the website for a more thorough rundown.
Known to reduce symptoms of PMS including irritability and mood swings.
Required in the production of sex hormones.
Supports liver function.
Helps reduce the symptoms of PMS and dysmenorrhea (intense period cramps).
Hormone support and uterine muscle toning.
Regulates immune and hormone response and supports homeostasis.
Used in alternative medicine to improve menstrual pain.
Regulates cortisol and thyroid function.
Stimulates serotonin and dopamine.
Assists in strengthening uterine lining which can help increase chances of conception.
May benefit women with or at high risk for estrogen-dependent diseases.
The BetterHormones product page does not indicate how often you are supposed to take the supplement in order to experience the benefits, but after reading the reviews, I decided to take it every day of the month.
I mix one scoop of the BetterHormones powder into my 40 oz Hydrojug. The product tastes really good all on its own, but I do mix mine with creatine, aminos (code is RUTH10), and electrolytes with iced water. I drink this little mixture throughout the morning.
I buy the bag which comes with 60 servings of powder, but they also sell these cute individual packs that are great for travel. I love the Peach Kiwi and the Strawberry Lemonade flavors.
BetterHormones also comes in a caffeinated version which would be great if I wasn’t so addicted to iced coffee.
I am a generally healthy person and take good care of my body, so it can sometimes be hard to tell a major difference when I start taking something new. However, BetterHormones has markedly improved my life.
That might sound extreme, but as a mom of two small kids, I can’t really afford to take an L when my period comes through. I have felt SO much better since taking this and would say that, at the very least, it’s worth trying.
Honestly, this product has been a major blessing. The fact that BetterHormones has made my periods so much more manageable makes it worth every penny. I am so grateful to have found something that works so well and plan to keep repurchasing and using it.
Please feel free to use my code RUTH10 on your next purchase with BetterDays!
I am definitely looking forward to trying out a few more of their products. I have heard great things about the BetterGreens powder.
Thanks for checking out my BetterDays Co. Better Hormones review! Please let me know if you end up trying it out and how you like it.
